The Certified Welding Inspector (WI) course will give a basic understanding of the Welding inspector’s tasks and responsibilities. Basic points of the course are: duties and responsibilities of welding inspector, identification, evaluation and reporting of imperfections, welding positions, symbols, welding procedure specifications, documentation, relevant standards, understanding of main welding processes, consumables, safety issues.
The Welding Inspector (WI) shall ensure that welds have been produced and tested in accordance with the relevant standards.
